| Plot: | After seven years and fifty-two days in prison, Marnie Watson returns to her old house in Brooklyn, New York, under the house arrest condition for the next six months. Marnie was sentenced for killing her abusive and brutal husband, the policeman Mike Watson, in self-defense and she must wear an electronic brace around her ankle that allows her to move in a 100-foot radius in the house during her probation. Mike's former partner Shanks takes Marnie under his custody, stalking her from his car, expecting her to violate the limits of the electronic device and send her back to prison. Sooner Marnie discovers that she is trapped in the house with the ghost of Mike that has not moved on and is still in the house seeking revenge against her. |

Revealing mistakes: The director makes a point of showing that the steps up to Marnie's front door are covered in fallen leaves, implying that no one has lived there for a long time, but earlier in the scene the street's trees still have their leaves. Revealing mistakes: When Marnie goes into the basement, her ankle bracelet starts chirping that she is more than 100 feet from the transmitter, when in actuality it is only about 20 to 30 feet above her head. PLOT: The whole ideal of the "100 feet" is wrong. A 100 feet is the length of a 10 story building is tall, so from the transmitter to the front door or the basement is well under the "100 feet" she is allowed to go. PLOT: Cranks wouldn't have (or at least shouldn't have) been assigned to the case. Since his deceased partner was the victim, there would have been a conflict of interest. |
