Goofs

Continuity: Initially, the cops are recording the signal from Paul's wire remotely, but they later end up retrieving a tape from him. GEOG: There are no tollbooths on any roads or freeways in Seattle or the surrounding area. Continuity: After Paul's bathroom incident at the party, the pieces of the tree limbs disappear and reappear between shots. Continuity: When Ray is in Paul's apartment eating a sandwich, it varies inconsistently in size between shots. Continuity: The sequence where Paul tries to escape from the bathroom is shortened, and a portion of it in which Paul removes his shoes is cut. However the following shots were not updated and thus, when Paul climbs back into the bathroom, his shoes are magically off of his feet and he's carrying them from his teeth. Continuity: At the rehearsal dinner, when the Granny asks for wine from the chef, he is holding the carafe of juice in his right hand and the wine in his left. However, when the Granny insists on wine he pours from the carafe in his right hand which now contains the wine. Continuity: When everyone rushes outside to investigate the car alarm, Becky is wearing her coat. All of the coats were earlier shown in the upstairs bedroom and she would not have had time to run upstairs and be outside the same time as everyone else. Continuity: When Ray cracks an egg on Paul's head, from the front it's on Paul's right side from the back it's on his left. Continuity: When Paul is chasing after Becky's taxi, the cars around Paul change between shots. Continuity: In the record store, the back of Becky's hair keeps changing between having a single braid, to no braid. Continuity: On the stairs, when Paul is introduced to Becky, the small tree branches keep appearing and disappearing. Revealing mistakes: When Becky is looking for her panties in Paul's apartment, you can see through her grass skirt she's still wearing underwear. Revealing mistakes: After returning from Ray's apartment, in one shot the mirror image of the car is used, with Paul driving from the right side seat. |

Dorothy: These are going to be our in-laws, so we really have to make sure that... Buck: Honey, I'm a pants salesman. I think I know how to act around people. Dorothy: Where's the groom-to-be? Karen: He's not here yet. Dorothy: You know Paul, he always comes a little late. Buck: What do you think of that, Kenny? Ken: So, Buck, are you a duffer? Buck: Well, if you mean do I like playing with my balls, the answer's yes. [Ahmed the tailor barges in on Paul and Pete in the dressing room] Ahmed: How is it, huh? Is it smoking? Listen, if don't love it, I still have double-breasted white ones sitting on the runway. You want to talk about a burning hot look? Sizzle! Paul: Ahmed, no, that's fine. This is great, thanks. Ahmed: Word! [Paul and Pete discuss Paul sleeping with Becky after his bachelor party] Pete: Wait 'till she's drunk... next Thanksgiving or Christmas, or better yet, this Saturday at your wedding, after she's had four gin and tonics and she steps up to the microphone and she's telling the whole world. Paul: That's not gonna happen. Pete: [mimicking Becky] Everyone, your attention please. I just think you should all know Karen's husband Paul nailed me last Saturday. Yeah, hot sex, and now I'm carrying his child. Thank you for listening. Please return to your entrees. Buck: So Kenny, what do you think of the condo? Ken: [struggling to be tactful] It's great... it's got a lot of... character. Buck: When I gave up the bachelor pad, I said to Dorothy, I'll move in with you under one condition: it's gotta reflect my style. [proudly points to huge painting of John Wayne] The Duke... signed by the artist! Paul: [after finding out they didn't do it] Then how did I get crabs? Becky: You've got crabs? Paul: Yeah. You gave me crabs. Becky: I DO NOT HAVE CRABS! Paul: You don't? Becky: No. But if I do I'm going to hunt you down and kill your crabby ass. Aunt Budge: I would kill for some diarrhea! I haven't had a bowel movement in 17 days! |
