| Plot: | Sid and Bernie keep having their amorous intentions snubbed by their girlfriends Joan and Anthea. The boys suggest a camping holiday, secretly intending to take them to a nudist camp. Of course they end up in the wrong place, and meet up with the weirdest bunch of campers you can imagine! Coach loads of sex-starved schoolgirls and bands of hippies all add to the laughs. |

Continuity: The Potters on their tandem pass a car, then as they pass Charlie Muggins they pass it again. Continuity: Charlie Muggins is left in the field sleeping in a brown pattered sleeping bag by the Potters. The next time we see him sleeping with the Potters again at the camp site he is back sleeping in the original blue bag and the brown one is nowhere to be seen (or, rather, the brown one is seen everywhere else - it appears in all sorts of different places around the campsite throughout the film). Continuity: When we first see the girls doing exercises, Babs isn't with them. Continuity: When Sid and Bernie go to the Department Store, they are seen to stop well in front of a signpost, but when they get out of the van, the signpost is quite clearly behind them. Continuity: When Sid and Bernie go to the Department Store, the lady in the white trousers has already gone past them, but when they get out of their car, she walks past them again. Continuity: When Miss Haggerd goes over to Dr Soaper's tent, she has the top button of her night dress done up, but when she enters the tent it has been undone. Continuity: Miss Haggerd's blue towel "turban" disappears and reappears between shots when Babs's bra comes off. Revealing mistakes: The clip attached to Babs's bra which helps it come off is visible in the close-up shots. Continuity: Interior and exterior shots of the Potters' front door do not match. Continuity: The wide angle and close up shots of the Farmer's front door do not match. Continuity: When Charlie Muggins is pulled into the tent, in the exterior shot he is entering through the flap with the window, and in the interior shot, the flap without the window. Continuity: When Sid and Bernie pick up Joan and Anthea from Mrs Fussy's house, Sid hands Bernie an Umbrella. Bernie then clearly wedges it in the left hand side of the roof rack. As the camera cuts to the left hand side of the car, the umbrella has gone. It is not visible when the luggage comes off the roof either. Continuity: Sid drives his car around a bend in the street on his way to pick up Joan and Anthea, but in the next shot he's on a straight piece of road. Continuity: When Sid drives around the bend in Joan and Anthea's street, he passes two girls walking down the pavement but they do not appear in the shot from the rear window. Continuity: When the girls are fighting in the room Miss Haggerd stops and enters. The shot from the corridor shows Miss Haggerd grab the handle in her left hand and push the door with her right. In the next shot, from inside the room, Miss Haggerd is now holding and pushing the handle with her right and holding onto the door frame with her left. SYNC: When Sid is trying to talk to Babs though the wall in the shower block and he says to Bernie he can hear her - but what is actually heard is Babs saying, "Sorry for bursting in on you last night sir," to Dr Soaper from outside the hostel. Continuity: When Peter Potter's pants catch fire he runs past Charlie Muggins inside the tent, but when he opens the flap of the tent, Charlie Muggins is not visible. Continuity: When Doctor Soaper and Miss Haggerd talk about the Birds and the Bees on the coach to the girls, they are quite clearly going down a motorway but in the next shot of the bus they are seen driving down a country lane. Continuity: When Dr Soaper and Miss Haggerd discuss what the Birds and the Bees do on the coach, they pass a red lorry but in the next shot, the red lorry disappears. Continuity: When Doctor Soaper talks to the girls on the coach, several of them are sitting on the rear seats but when seen from outside, the girls are not sitting in the same places and the rear seats are empty. Revealing mistakes: Obvious stunt double for Mr. Tanner when he drives the bus with the girls, Doctor Soaper and Matron down the country lane. Continuity: When Matron visits Doctor Soaper in his tent she opens the zip and only a blue background can be seen behind her, not the camp site. Revealing mistakes: When it starts to rain at the campsite the rain falls on the foreground of the scene and not the background, even though people can be seen running around in the background as though it's raining. Continuity: Mr Tanner falls over Sally in the youth hostel and pulls Babs' clothing off. Sally is seen on the floor lying sideways away from the camera when this happens. In the next shot she's sitting up, facing the camera. Continuity: When Miss Haggerd visits Doctor Soaper's tent her slippers change style and colour on the way. Revealing mistakes: When Mr Muggins, and Mr and Mrs Potter struggle to get undressed in the tent, the central metal frame of the tent collapses behind Mr Muggins but the tent stays upright. Revealing mistakes: Babs's bra falls off in a downwards direction but it still manages to hit Doctor Soaper in the face. Continuity: When Joan tells Sid that they are already "soaking wet" after having put up the tents, their clothes appear dry and not wet. Continuity: As they are about to leave in the car in front of the house, Mrs. Fussey is right behind Sid as he walks round the car. However, when you see the next shot she is far behind him. Continuity: Dr Soaper is already halfway out the back of his tent when the matron invades it. However, in the next shot he is wholly inside. Continuity: When Charlie Muggins is about to be passed by Peter and Harriet potter a white car is some way behind him. But as he is passed the white car is only a few feet from him. Continuity: On the first night at the camp site, it is raining and Bernie accidentally inflates the rubber dingy, but the outside shot of the dingy inflating in the tent shows it is not raining. Continuity: In the cinema, Sid's ice lolly changes a few times. Revealing mistakes: When Mr. Potter turns off the lamp in the tent, it's obviously not lit in the first place. Fact errors: Bulls don't actually charge when they see red. They're colour-blind and are provoked by movement, so the bull should not have started charging until Harriet gets up and starts running towards the gate. Continuity: Sid has to buy a membership to get into Paradise Camp. At the end of the film, however, Joan's mother appears to get in without having to pay at all. |

Charlie Muggins: Hello. What's a nice girl like you doing with an old cow? Girl with cow: I'm taking her to the bull. Charlie Muggins: Well couldn't your father do that? Girl with cow: No it must the the bull. Charlie Muggins: My name's Muggins. Peter Potter: That doesn't surprise me. Mrs. Fussey: Joan may think you're a gentleman but personally I've got sore misgivings. Sid Boggle: You ought to put some talcum powder on them. Peter Potter: Hello darling, Oh No. Harriet Potter: Hello Peter darling, I'm just checking on the camping gear. Peter Potter: So I see. Harriet Potter: Did you have a good day? Peter Potter: Oh not bad, got drunk at lunchtime, went to a strip club and ended up in bed with a popsy. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: Ahh matron what can I do for you? Miss Haggerd: I'm sorry to trouble you Doctor Soaper, but I've been thinking about this camping trip for the girls who have to remain with us for the rest of the holidays. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: What about it? Miss Haggerd: I was wondering whether it was really such a good idea? Dr. Kenneth Soaper: Perhaps you were forgetting Matron it was my idea. Miss Haggerd: Oh no no, of course it is an absolutely splendid one but... Dr. Kenneth Soaper: But what? Miss Haggerd: Well I was wondering whether they might find it a trifle spartan them being such delicate and refined girls. Miss Haggerd: The point I'm really trying to make is that here I can jeep full control of them, outside anything might happen. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: You seem to be forgetting Miss Haggerd you're coming with us surely you and I can keep suitable control. Miss Haggerd: [Romantically] Well I was thinking of the girls... Dr. Kenneth Soaper: So was I. Miss Haggerd: Oh. But don't you see it raises the problem of sex? Dr. Kenneth Soaper: I wouldn't dream of bothering you in that way. Miss Haggerd: No I meant with the girls they are likely to come in to contact with boys. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: Oh yes. I don't think that will be a problem. It has been my experience as once young people sample the lights of country life and the wonders of nature they just can't get enough of it. Miss Haggerd: Exactly. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: Well I was thinking of the girls... Miss Haggerd: So was I. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: Exactly. Babs: Are you going to stay with us all the time? Jim Tanner: Oh yeah, I go all the way! Babs: Oh I bet you do... Dr. Kenneth Soaper: Barbara dear, do you think your quite suitably dressed for travelling? Babs: Oh but sir, we were told to bring the minimum of clothing. Mr. Short: Miss Dobbin, what's the meaning of this? Miss Dobbin: I'm sorry sir but the gentlemen kept touching things. Charlie Muggins: Yes she was showing me how to stick the pole up. Dr. Kenneth Soaper: [on disturbing Matron in the shower] Matron, this is the *men's*! Miss Haggerd: Go away, Doctor Soaper! Miss Haggerd: I don't think a shower stall is the place for making advances! Dr. Kenneth Soaper: I thought I got hold on the shower tap! Dr. Kenneth Soaper: [after Barbara asks about fertility rights] A fine talk you must have given them on the birds and the bees. Miss Haggerd: Well, when I started talking, I realized I had no idea what they do. What do bees do? Dr. Kenneth Soaper: They sting! Joan Fussey: [Sid has taken Joan to the cinema to see a nudist film] You told me this film was all about camping! Sid Boggle: It is. They've got tents, haven't they? Joan Fussey: That's not what you're looking at! Dr. Kenneth Soaper: [shocked at seeing Babs' bikini top fly off as he takes the girls through their exercises] Matron, take them away! Babs: How about those two things sticking out in front? Sid Boggle: Yeah! How about 'em! Babs: Saucy! |
