| Plot: | Animals are strictly forbidden at Andi and her little brother Bruce's foster home. But for Friday, the adorable dog they secretly care for, they're ready to risk everything. They finally find him an ideal shelter, a huge abandoned hotel that Bruce transforms thanks to his engineering genius. In what has become an incredible paradise for dogs, Friday is soon joined by all kinds of furry friends, so many in fact that their barks alert the neighbors...and the local pound, who can't understand the disappearance of all the stray dogs. Andi and Bruce will have to call on all their friends and all their imagination to stop the hotel's secret from being discovered. |

Continuity: SPOILER: When Bruce first checks in Henry near the beginning of the movie, he writes Henry's name in green (at 49:04) following Friday's name inscribed in a heart. Later when Bernie is reading from the check-in book, Henry's name is in red (at 01:27:41) and follows Cooper. CHAR: SPOILER: (At 47:00) Heather is trying to coax the three legged dog onto the ramp, she then praises him saying "good boy". Then at the end (at 1:22:00) Bernie calls her "Chelsea". Continuity: After taking dogs from an Animal Control truck, Mark, Andi, Bruce, Dave and Heather are shown at 48:41 in the alley by the hotel walking abreast toward the camera with dogs in their arms and on leashes. There are 8 cuts (9 shots) from 48:41 to 48:52 with many changes the specific dog(s) each kid controls and with Mark switching from the left side of the screen to the right and then back. Continuity: At the party, a drink is spilled only down the front of Andi's dress (at 01:02:11). When she returns to the hotel, the stain is all over the back and the front of her dress (at 01:06:45 and 01:06:57). GEOG: The bathroom at the beginning of the movie where Bruce is sealing the rock in the box is the same bathroom used later on in the hotel. The first bathroom was supposed to be at the school. Continuity: In a close-up, Bruce puts kibbles on a floor switch panel (43:02) to entice Romeo to step onto it, but when the camera cuts to a longer shot of Romeo (43:07), there are no kibbles on the panel. |
Quotes
|
Andi: You know, I think we might be in a little over our heads. Dave: It's four-six; we're out dogged. Bruce: If you look at it, dogs have three basic needs. That's- that's eatting, sleeping, peeing and pooping. Andi: That's four. Bruce: No, I think peeing and pooping is one. Heather: Uh, I've stepped in both and I have to disagree. Bernie: You sold a guy a rock in a box for $20. Lois Scudder: I'm suing you, I'm suing the state, I'm suing those kids, I'm suing the people who make shrink wrap! Andi: [police see them where a store was broken into, the thieves just got away] We can't get in trouble again! Bruce: We didn't do anything. Andi: You want to tell them that? |
