Revealing mistakes: During the scene where Donnelly is putting Harry in the trunk of the car outside Malroux's house, a hose nozzle providing "rain" can be seen in the upper right corner of the widescreen version. A clip from the same scene with the same mistake is in the trailer included on the DVD. Continuity: When Harry is told by the judge that his conviction was overturned, Harry yells at the judge and the judge turns off the feed, leaving the screen black. In the next shot when Harry rushes towards the television, the image of the judge at his desk has returned. Crew: When on the beach, walking to the right of the screen, you can see a camera man carrying his equipment. Revealing mistakes: (At 01:01:37) The dead Odette's impersonator lying on bed is obviously breathing. |

Harry Barber: I tried writing again. Nothing came out that didn't sound bitter and cynical. And there's nothing worse than a writer who doesn't have anything to say. Harry Barber: I was in it right up to my ears, and no idea how I was going to get myself out. Rhea Malroux: I'm just a girl with a little ambition. [first lines] [palmetto bug chirping over typical prison sounds] Harry Barber: They're not as bad as you might think. In fact, sometimes they're pretty good company. [pause] And you can get used to just about anything in prison, even a palmetto bug. [pause] I tried writing again. Nothing came out that didn't sound bitter and cynical. And there's nothing worse than a writer who doesn't have anything to say. [pause] Well... that's me, Harry Barber. [last lines] [palmetto bug chirping over typical prison sounds] Harry Barber: Well... I'm back in prison, back with my little friends. [typewriter starts clacking] It's part of the deal I cut with Renick, but it isn't gonna be for long. The way I figure, just long enough for me to write my story. [pause] And then who knows. They might even turn it into a movie. [typewriter is shown typing the end of the screenplay and the beginning of the cast credits] |
