Revealing mistakes: You can see Forest Whitaker's reflection in glass in the scene where he sits next to his wife on the bench, as if the shot has been taken from inside a car. Continuity: At the beginning the movie Ray Liotta is standing nude facing the ocean. A moment later, after entering the water, bathing trunks can be seen below the water line. Continuity: Forrest Whitaker relieves himself next to a dumpster in a parking lot, but as he walks away there is no evidence of this. Continuity: The visible part of Jack's neck tattoo changes from a roundish, spider web-looking design, to what appears to the the tips of a flying creature's wings. |

Qwerty Doolittle: I know that you are going to say it's time for you to leave, but I don't, I don't want you to go yet. I want you to stay. Rose Johnny: Are you sure? Qwerty Doolittle: Yeah. You can stay here, I have plenty of blankets. You can stay the night. Rose Johnny: I don't even know your name. Randall: I hope the next time we find each other is in heaven. Jack Doheny: Just stop. Rose Johnny: Are you afraid of me? Jack Doheny: I'm old enough to be your father. Rose Johnny: Most of them are. Charlie: [Stares at the crucifix] Why are you doing this to me? Rose Johnny: I love you, sweet pea. Velvet Larry: But on Christmas Eve, I'm gonna have a lot of very lonely people out of my club. Some even thinking about killing themselves. And they come here looking for companionship. They're looking for a little bit of love. They are looking for a little bit of hope. Qwerty Doolittle: In my profession, I see death every day. Some by accident, some by sickness, but some through despair. These are the ones I wish I could have helped. Randall: Welcome back. Jack Doheny: Just passing through. I don't have a lot of time to waste. Randall: I had no choice. After you went down, the feds were watching me like a hawk. I couldn't go down like that. I had a family to take care of. Jack Doheny: What about me, I didn't have a family? Twenty five years I did, twenty five years. You don't call, you don't write, you don't do shit. We're friends? I swear I would kill you if given a chance. Slim: If she ain't dead, she'll be out here on Friday night, or at the Geisha Dungeon. Charlie: Geisha Dungeon? What's that? Slim: The devil's lair. Rose Johnny: You're not from around here are you? Jack Doheny: No, just passing through. Rose Johnny: Yeah I thought so. You're too nice. Jack Doheny: I got you two tickets to go to anywhere in the world. |
