| Plot: | Jacki (Gina Gershon), sexy punk rocker and lead singer of the all-girl band Clamdandy, is at a crossroads. With her birthday fast approaching, she must decide whether or not to keep the promise she made to herself over a decade earlier: Quit the music business at 40 if she hasn't made it by then. The decision gets complicated when old secrets, false hope, and personal tragedies threaten to break up the band. |

Goofs
| Revealing mistakes: Jacki gives Faith a tattoo. Faith shows the tattoo to Sally and says, "Jacki just did it today." The Tattoo showed no signs of being new at all. No redness, no swelling, no irritation and no Vaseline covering it. It looked as if it had been done months ago. |

Tracy: Actually, I'm in a band so that I can get laid. Jacki: C'mon dude, chicks do not need to be in a band to get laid. Jacki: Now, here's a silly question: is Tracy here yet? Jacki: Got to go pee. Jacki: Tracy, while we were waiting for you, we took a vote. We're now a cover band. Tracy: [grabbing her crotch] Cover this, dude. Punk Rock Girl: [Girl atonally strums the guitar really fast and yells incoherently] What do you think? Faith: Oh! Um! Tha, tha that wasn't bad! Punk Rock Girl: Yeah! Faith: Um! Ok! but do you remember what we were talking about, um! The dynamics of a song. Punk Rock Girl: What's that? Faith: Um! Oh, look, we're out of time Punk Rock Girl: Ok, ok, I'll... I'll see you next week then. Faith: Yes. Jacki: I've read the pamphlets, today it's marijuana, tomorrow I'm a crack whore. Jacki: [seeing Sally and Faith kissing] Hello lesbian lovers. Sally: Hello woman who can't make up her mind. Tracy: I need help. Jacki: That wasn't an offer, that was an insult. Jacki: A murderer, a rapist and a dyke go into a tattoo parlor... Jacki: OK, two dykes, a wannabe rock star, and a tequila guzzling speed freak walk into a restaurant. I always imagined it would be a bit more, I don't know, glamorous. I mean we'd be in this big beautiful office, we'd sign on the dotted line, and we'd cut to band on stage, playing to thousands of adoring fans. Wow, I can't believe that my whole future is hanging in the balance at the Big Drip Cafe. |
