Continuity: After being freed from the trunk of a car during the shoot-out at the construction site, Nick picks up two guns. He is seen picking them up, holding them in the elevator, and still holding two when he presses against the wall, but as soon as he fires his first shot, he is only holding one gun with both hands. Continuity: During the final scene when the mover Victor breaks open the locker to retrieve the case, when the camera pans out to a wider view the locker is clearly no longer broken but is closed and in perfect condition. Continuity: When Kira is on the bed with Nick in the hotel, she has her head facing up. She then turns her head to the side before Cassie enters the room. When the camera cuts back to Kira, her head is back in the same position. Continuity: In the scene at the beginning of the film when Kira is injected with the serum, the doctors prepare and take a tray with four syringes to her bedside, having used one to inject Kira there should be three left, but when Kira re-animates and in making her escape grabs a syringe off the tray, there are only two. Continuity: In Hook's introductory scene, he shows a girl his card-shifting trick. She requests "ace of spades", but she mouths something different from her voice. In the next scene, it's implied that he makes an ace of spades appear, however, the card in his hand is actually a ten of spades. Continuity: (At 1:06:00) When they look at the building that is represented as a question sign on the drawing, there a helicopter to the left, in the next scene is the helicopter not to be seen again. Revealing mistakes: In the scene where Nick goes to see Henry in the restaurant, he takes his guns out and sends them along through the air, just below the reflective ceiling. However, the guns have no reflection in said ceiling. |

Cassie Holmes: [in tears] Tell me I'm a crappy artist and that everything is going to be fine. Nick Gant: You are a *crappy* artist. Everything is going to be fine, I promise. Cassie Holmes: There are special people in this world. We don't ask to be special. We're just born this way. We pass you on the streets every day, unnoticed by most. It started in 1945. The Nazis were conducting experiments in psychic warfare, trying to turn those with psychic abilities into soldiers. Lots of us died. The war ended, but the experiments never stopped. Other governments around the world set up what they called "divisions", trying to do what the Nazis couldn't, to turn us into weapons. The divisions agents are trained to track and hunt us down like animals. Take us away from our families and friends. They test us and categorize us. I'm what they call a Watcher. We can see the future, even if that's not always as simple as it sounds. Others are called Movers; just an easy way of saying telekinetic. Pushers put thoughts in your head, and make whatever lie they come up with the truth. Sniffs, Shifters, Shadows, Bleeders... it goes on and on. In divisions' eyes, we're all just lab rats. Only one problem - we keep dying. No one has ever survived the drug meant to boost our powers. My name is Cassie Holmes. Division took my mom from me. Right now, the future I see doesn't look so great. The good news is, the future is always changing, in the largest of ways, by the smallest of things. They've been winning a lot of battles. Now it's our turn to win the war. Nick Gant: How long do you think your mom's been planning this? Cassie Holmes: [smiles wanly] Probably since before I was born. Pinky Stein: [to Nick] Sorry, I didn't know the procedure for stopping a blitzed ten year old. Cassie Holmes: I'm thirteen! Cassie Holmes: [scared] Please don't make me do anything to myself. Nick Gant: Did you pushed me? Kira Hudson: Don't like it? Push back. Pinky Stein: I don't have to be a Watcher to see where this is going. Nick's Father: Listen to me Nick. Someday a girl is going to give you a flower. You have to help her Nick. Help her, help us all. Nick Gant: Don't make any decisions a Watcher can track. Henry Carver: You already know the ending to this story. You can only draw it so many ways. Cassie Holmes: We're going to change it. Henry Carver: With her we are going to create an army the world's never seen before. [Nick gives Kira a letter as she gets into a taxi] Kira Hudson: When do I open it? Nick Gant: When you start to doubt the truth. Nick Gant: Did you lose a bet with your hairdresser? Cassie Holmes: No! I just like color! Cassie Holmes: Nick! [pause] Cassie Holmes: Bring an umbrella. It's gonna rain. Nick Gant: You be careful too. Cassie Holmes: Hey, what did I inject myself with? Cassie Holmes: Seven Dragons Soy Sauce. Nick Gant: That's gross. [first lines] Young Nick: Dad, what's happening? Nick's Father: I need you to listen to me, like we're the last two people on the planet, okay Nick? Someday, a girl is going to give you a flower. You got that? A flower. And you have to help her, Nick. You help her, and you help us all. Okay? I know it doesn't make any sense right now, but I believe the woman who told me that. Do you think you can believe me? [Nick nods] Nick's Father: I love you. Know how I've said that you were special Nick? Turns out that I was right. Agent Holden: There's a lot of runaway psychics in Hong Kong. Trying to disappear, Nick. People with no country, no loyalty... Nick Gant: No desire to get involved in political bullshit. Nick Gant: Hey, whoa whoa whoa... [takes chicken away from Cassie] Nick Gant: Excuse me. Cassie Holmes: This how you treat your guests? Nick Gant: This is how I treat random strangers who barge into my apartment. Cassie Holmes: First thing's first. I know you're a second generation Mover. Nick Gant: Is that what the kids are calling it these days? Cassie Holmes: I'll let you know when I see one. You don't really use your powers, which means you haven't practiced, so you kind of suck at it. How am I doing so far? Nick Gant: Go on. Cassie Holmes: I'm a Watcher. Second generation, like you. Nick Gant: Wow, that's... Cassie Holmes: Complicated, cause the future can change just by talking about it, so I see glimpses, and I draw about it in my book, but I'm not really good at it. I'm kind of a crappy artist, but I'm sure you already knew that. Cassie Holmes: I'm 13, and I've been told I look at least 14. Pop Girl: Stupid child. I already saw how you die. Cassie Holmes: Then you know it's not here, and it's not today. Nick Gant: [after being healed by Teresa Stowe] Wow. That woman's got magic fingers. Nick Gant: I heard what she said about your mother. Cassie Holmes: You did? Division's got her. They locked her up because she's the greatest Watcher they've ever seen. They're afraid of her, and they're afraid they can't control it. Nick Gant: They killed my father for the same reason. But I guess you already knew that. Cassie Holmes: I see the future, not the past. Right now, our future is not that great. Agent Mack: [sniffing Kira's lipstick] Christ! Get a load of that. She must use that like ten times a day. That's a keeper. Henry Carver: Is there anything else she might've put in your head? I'm only asking because I don't want to be shot in the face for screwing some made-up sister you don't really have. Agent Mack: [shocked] I don't have a sister? Agent Mack: The only thoughts in my head are my own. Henry Carver: You willing to risk your life on that? Agent Mack: Yes, sir. Henry Carver: Then put the gun in your mouth and pull the trigger. Don't worry. You already checked it. It's not loaded. Cocktail Waitress: [handing Hook drink] Vodka martini. Hook Waters: Thank you. Cassie Holmes: I'll have one of those. Nick Gant: She'll have a Coke. Cassie Holmes: My mom drinks when she wants to get really clear images. She's famous for it. Nick Gant: Maybe something without caffeine. Hook Waters: I know who you are. When I was in Division, your mother was at the top of every watchlist there was. Cassie Holmes: You worked for division? Hook Waters: You want to know about division? Ten years. No thank you. No pension. I was put out on the street with the threat not to shift again. Only the Sniffs caught up with me in Chicago. I was just trying to buy something nice for my wife. Next day, I get a call. She's dead. Car accident. But my wife doesn't drive. Emily Hu: [to Nick and Cassie] Are you with division? Cassie Holmes: Are you looking at us? Nick Gant: [pointing to object in Cassie's drawing] We need this. Hook Waters: An olive? Cassie Holmes: It's a bead. Kira Hudson: Division came and locked me up. Nick Gant: What? Kira Hudson: And you never came! Nick Gant: I looked for you. I did! Kira Hudson: You didn't find me. Cassie Holmes: [to Nick] You better do something quick, 'cause I'm getting sick of drawing dead bodies! Kira Hudson: So Pinky... your wife gave you that name? Pinky Stein: No, the division did, sweetheart. [holds up hand to show Kira his missing pinky finger] Pinky Stein: Back in the day. Pop Girl: My father expects me to find that suitcase. Cassie Holmes: So does my mother. Pop Girl: But you don't see it clearly, do you? Too many things keep changing. I already saw how you die. Did you see it yet? [flips through drawings of tigers] Pop Girl: You can change it, you know. Plenty of planes leaving Hong Kong every day. Cassie Holmes: Oh, we *are* going to change it. Pop Girl: You put a Shadow on the girl. You know that's only temporary. That girl is the one who brings all your little fantasy crashing down. So tell Nick something for me, little girl. Tell him my family going to make his brain pop like a tomato! Tell him that's the future I see. Nick Gant: Are you okay? Cassie Holmes: No. Not until we find that case. Nick Gant: When was the last time you saw it? Cassie Holmes: Not since yesterday. Not for lack of trying. If we don't find it soon, they're going to kill my mom. And it's going to be my fault. [after a long pause] Nick Gant: Look at me. Hey... [turns Cassie to him] Nick Gant: Look at me. You really think I'm going to let that happen? Now you said that the future is always changing, right? It can change just by knowing it? Cassie Holmes: It can change. Doesn't mean it will. Nick Gant: Good enough. [Nick grabs guns] Cassie Holmes: What are you doing? What are you going to go do? Nick Gant: I'm going to try to make a better one. Nick Gant: Henry Carver. Henry Carver: [smiling] Now there's a face I haven't seen in a long time. [last lines] Kira Hudson: [to Henry Carver] Put the gun in your mouth. Pull the trigger. Cassie Holmes: Where's the chicky-chicky who gets us all killed? Nick Gant: Are you drunk? Cassie Holmes: Yeah. Cassie Holmes: [drunk] You don't get it, Nick. She's the one that kills us all, basically! Nick Gant: Well I guess we're all going to get killed! Cassie Holmes: Yeah! It's screwed up! Pinky Stein: By we, do you mean not... Cassie Holmes: You too! Hook Waters: How are we going to make the future unpredictable? Nick Gant: By not knowing what we're going to do, until right before we do it. Cassie Holmes: A plan without planning. Pop Girl: You make me look like a fool in front of my family! [Pop Girl has memory erased and is knocked out] Cassie Holmes: Don't worry. You won't remember a thing. Kira Hudson: [walks in] Where's the case, Nick? Nick Gant: Kira? Henry Carver: [looks at Kira] Go ahead. Kira Hudson: Remember that night under the roller coaster? We parked under the rain and got those little bottles of Jack. That was the first time you told me you loved me. Henry Carver: He remembers. Kira Hudson: I wanna hear it from him Nick Gant: I remember. Kira Hudson: Never happened. We met for the first time yesterday. You've never been to Coney Island. Nobody's been to Coney Island. I used you, Nick. Now the quicker we find that case, the quicker I'll let you forget it. Cassie Holmes: Who sent you? Teresa Stowe: Your mother. A week before she was captured by Division, she told me to be at that fish market today. [Maggie lifts Nick's head to see if he's alive] Cassie Holmes: Stay away from him. Teresa Stowe: If that's what you want. Just be sure to add his picture to the Wall of the Dead. Cassie Holmes: I think I just saved your life. No need to thank me, you should just start listening to me. |
