Plot: In the days of King Arthur's Camelot, a renegade knight Ruber plots to usurp the throne by turning his henchmen into formidable monsters, forcing the widow of a Round Table knight he killed to use her privileged access to the King's castle and, most importantly, stealing King Arthur's symbol of power, the magical sword, Excalibur. When she kidnaps the widow, her young rambunctious daughter, Kayley, who dreams the seemingly impossible dream of becoming a Knight, escapes to both warn the King and try to recover Excalibur. Along the way, she meets up with a young blind hermit, a goofy two headed dragon and a mysterious silver winged falcon and together, they endeavor to find the sword to save the kingdom.

Goofs

Continuity: When the bad guy tries to attack King Arthur he is repelled by the sword. He runs out of the chamber and slams the heavy wooden doors closed behind him. As he does so three knights throw a spear at him. However on the other side of the doors, seven spears are shown piercing through it.
Continuity: When Kayley and Garrett are crossing the acid pond on the bobbing rocks in Dragon Country, they show a top view of Garrett crossing and that he only has one rock until he reaches the edge. But then they show you the front view of Garrett crossing and it shows he has several more rocks to go before the edge.
Continuity: When Kayley and Garret are standing by the acid lake, deciding whether or not it's safe, Garret dips just the end of his walking stick into the lake, but when he pulls it out, almost half is gone and the end of what remains is charred black. In the next shot, the entire walking stick is complete and unharmed.
Continuity: When Garrett is crossing the acid lake he gets almost to the end. However when Kayliegh tells him to hurry, the shot goes back and it shows him back at the start.
CHAR: When Devon and Cornwall make shadow puppets on the wall, Garrett (who is supposedly blind), looks at the shadow puppets on the wall.
Continuity: In the second-to-the-last shot where King Arthur comes out of the keep after Excalibur is back in the stone, Garret's stick, which had previously been in two pieces in Arthur's projected path, scoots to the right and one piece (the top half) is missing.

Quotes

Bladebeak: You've got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel -
clucky? Well, do ya... punk?
[Trying to start a fire with two sticks]
Cornwall: Come on, baby, light my fire...
Devon: You know, there's nothing more pathetic than a flame retarded
dragon.
Devon: Anyway, cheer up. When we get to Camelot, we'll be kissed by
the world's most beautiful women.
Cornwall: Yeah, we're a giant talking lizard with two heads. We're
gonna have to beat them off with a stick.
Devon: Enchanté, mademoiselle. I'm Devon, and this growth on my neck
is Cornwall.
Cornwall: But you can call me Corny for short.
Cornwall: Eh, you're better off without him. He walks funny. He even
looks funny. People throw darts at him.
Devon: How can you be so cold-blooded?
Cornwall: I'm a reptile.
Kayley: Are you *sure* this is dragon country? I mean, shouldn't
there be a sign or something? It could say, 'Welcome to Dragon
Country.'... You don't think we'll *see* any... do you?... Is a
group of dragons a pack or a flock? Is it a gaggle or a pride? Is
it a herd?
Garrett: Quiet.
Kayley: Do you hear something?
Garrett: No, I just want you to be quiet.
Bladebeak: Dragon a la king. It's such a pleasant change from -
-chicken?
Garrett: What are you?
Devon, Two-Headed Dragon: Frankly, we're the reason cousins shouldn't
marry.
Kayley: You *saved* my life! Thank you!
Garrett: Well, everyone makes mistakes sometimes.
Kayley: Oh, I get it. This is where King Arthur sends his unfunny
jesters, right?
Garrett: And now I'll thank you...
Kayley: For what?
Garrett: For reminding me why I'm a hermit. Good day!
Garrett: I know the sound of each rock and stone/ I embrace what
others fear/ You are not to roam in this forgotten place/ Just the
likes of me are welcome here/ Everything breathes and I know each
breath/ For it means life, for others it's death/ Perfectly
balanced/ Perfectly planned / More than enough for this man/
Garrett: Like every tree stands on it's own/ Reaching for the the
sky, I stand alone/ I share my world with no one else/ All by
myself, I stand alone/ I've seen your world/ With these very eyes/
Don't come any closer/ Don't even try/ I've felt all the pain/
Heard all the lies/ But in my world, there's no comprimise/ Like
every tree stands on it's own/ Reaching for the the sky, I stand
alone/ I share my world with no one else/ All by myself, I stand
alone/
Kayley: Garrett, what are you doing?
Garrett: I'm driving!
Kayley: Are you *sure* that's such a good idea?
Kayley: Hey, your falcon has silver wings!
Garrett: *Really?* I'll have to take your word for it.
Kayley: oh no I'm Sorry, it just means he knows where Excalibur is!
Garrett: Sure he does, in Camelot. You know, big castle, lots of
flags...
Kayley: No, it's somewhere in the forest!
King Arthur: Is there any news? Have the knights found Excalibur?
Merlin: I'm afraid not, sire.
King Arthur: Then I'll go after it myself.
Merlin: No. You must regain your strength.
King Arthur: Is there anything your magic can do?
Merlin: You must rely on the courage of your people.
King Arthur: You have reminded us that the strength of a kingdom is
not based on the strength of the king, but on the strength of its
people.
King Arthur: You may kill me... but you'll never destroy the ideals
of Camelot.
Ruber: Well, I've got to start somewhere.
Lady Juliana: Ruber.
Ruber: Juliana. I was in the neighborhood, and I thought I'd invade.
How about a kiss? I hear you're still single...
Lady Juliana: Impertinent pig.
Ruber: Is that a no?
Lady Juliana: You're mad.
Ruber: I'm *so* glad you noticed. I've been working at it for years.
Minion: Nothing can stop Ruber's plan to take over Camelot.
Lady Juliana: You don't know my daughter.
Ruber: A spear. How stone age. A king would hold a nobler weapon. A
king would hold Excalibur.
Ruber: Panic sweeps across the land.
Gryphon: Precisely.
Ruber: My plan is perfect.
Gryphon: Precisely.
Ruber: Without the sword, Arthur is vulnerable.
Gryphon: Precisely.
Ruber: And now Excalibur is mine.
Gryphon: Eh... here's where we enter a grey area.
Ruber: Where did you drop the sword?
Gryphon: It all looks so *different* from down here...
Kayley: But mother Excaliber has been stolen I must go after it!
[after Cornwall and Devon fall off the edge of a cliff]
Cornwall: Houston, we have a problem.
Kayley: Hey, Ruber!
Kayley: I will not serve a false king!
Ruber: You've been quite annoying, for a girl.
Kayley: Why won't you look at me when I'm talking to you?... Oh. Oh,
I didn't realize you were...
Garrett: What? Tall? Rugged? Handsome?
Kayley: Blind.
Garrett: ...You know, I always forget that one.
Ruber: Find them all and report back to me! Did you hear me?
Gryphon: Sorry, Master. My mouth was full.
Ruber: Typical! Of all the evil creatures in the world, I had to find
one with *table manners*!
Bladebeak: Moving bush! WHOO!
[to Ayden]
Cornwall: I got three words for you, Birdy! "Dinner. Is. Served"!
Sir Lionel: I'll not serve a false king.
Ruber: Then serve... A DEAD ONE!
[Ruber attacks Arthur]
Ruber: When I get my hands on that girl...
Garrett: Look at the sky/ Tell me what do you see/ Just close your
eyes and describe it to me/ The heavens are sparkling with
starlight tonight/ That's what I see through your eyes/
Kayley: Please... Don't die.
[She places the healing plant on his side]
Kayley: I can't do this on my own.
[There is a pause as Ayden flies in]
Kayley: I'm sorry. It's all my fault that you were hurt. I mean, I
was rattling on when I should have been quiet. I'm no help to
anyone.
Garrett: [Shushes her gently] You're wrong.
Kayley: Camelot! Oh Garrett, it's so beautiful! I wish you could see
it.
Garrett: I have seen it. And there was no place for me. [hands her
Excalibur]
Kayley: Garrett, what's wrong?
Garrett: Take Excalibur to Authur. You don't have much time. [Turns
back towards the Forbidden Forest]
Kayley: [Runs ahead of him, blocking his path] But we'll deliver the
sword together.
Garrett: No. You deliver it. I... I don't belong in that world.
[Moves past her] Come on, Ayden.
Kayley: [softly] But you belong in mine.
Garrett: [to Ayden] You don't understand. In Camelot, she'd only see
me through their eyes. Not a knight, not a man, not anything.
Young Kayley: I'm coming with you, Daddy!
Sir Lionel: Yes, when you're old enough Kayley. I will take you to
Camelot, I promise. I love you!
Young Kayley: One day, I will be a knight, like Father.
Kayley: [dancing with Garret at their knighting ceremony] [motioning
to the hall of people] Oh, Garret! Isn't this everything you ever
dreamed of?
Garrett: Hmm... Not quite *everything*... [spins Kayley into his
arms]
Ruber: [after the giant ogre sits on him] The ogre's butt.
