| Plot: | The gambler and former police officer Milo Boyd owes money to dangerous takers and works as bounty hunter. His ex-wife Nicole Hurley is a reporter snooping the mysterious death of a man that was reported by the police as suicide. Meanwhile Nicole is accused of running over and assaulting a police officer and is summoned to a hearing in the court. However, she has a lead for her case and she misses the audience with the judge. Milo is assigned to track down and arrest Nicole; in return, he would receive an award of US 5,000.00. While hunting Kate, Roy stays close to his ex-wife and they both revive the good moments they had in their marriage and Milo. But Nicole is pursued by the criminal that she is investigating. |

CHAR: When Nicole is calling her mother, Kitty, from the bathroom at Cupids Cabin, Kitty has lipstick on her teeth. Fact errors: There is a scene with the characters pumping gas. The scene took place in New Jersey where it is illegal to pump your own gas and all stations are full service. GEOG: "Cupid's Cabin" is shown to be at Exit 22. If they were traveling back to NY via the Garden State Parkway from Atlantic City, Exit 22 would be 16 miles in the wrong direction (south) as the parkway exits are numbered in ascending order from south to north, and Atlantic City is Exit 38. Also, there is no exit 22 on the Garden State Parkway. GEOG: They leave Monmouth Park to go back to New York City, but along the way Milo is tempted to gamble when they pass through Atlantic City. But Atlantic City is close to 100 miles in the wrong direction from New York. Fact errors: When they go to their room in the Borgata, Milo says that she will be paying for it since he lifted her credit card. However all the Atlantic City casinos require picture I.D. before you can get a room. It would wave been obvious that the card was not his. Revealing mistakes: On Nicole Hurley's (Jennifer Aniston) rap sheet, on both occasions that it's on screen, it lists her birthday as being 4/?/79, with her age at 35. For this to be possible, the film would have to be set in 2014. GEOG: The characters are leaving Monmouth Park Horse track (about 1 hour north of Atlantic City) and headed back to NYC. In the next scene they are driving in Atlantic City. You would not head back South on the Parkway if your intentions were to head to NYC. Continuity: Jennifer's handcuff chains differ in length throughout the film. Continuity: The color and size of Milo's taser burn changes between shots Fact errors: Milo was carrying a pistol, even while he was in New Jersey. It is illegal for bounty hunters in New Jersey to carry a firearm. Continuity: When Nicole ('Jennifer Aniston' (qv)) is at the Horse track she is wearing black high heel shoes but when they bump into the SUV that is following them, she steps over Boyd's foot to press the gas pedal and then she is wearing a nude color shoe. Continuity: When Jennifer is walking on the rooftop, she has her heels on. Right before she starts talking to her mother she's barefoot. Even if we can guess she has taken them off, we can't see the shoes any near her. Fact errors: Milo states that when cases don't go to trial nothing happens to the evidence. While this is true with most items, drugs are not left in evidence warehouses they are instead incinerated. Fact errors: In the scene at the gas station after Milo apprehends Nicole, Milo is pumping his own gas. It is illegal to pump one's own gas in New Jersey. |
Quotes
|
Nicole Hurley: Life is making mistakes. Milo Boyd: And death is wishing you had made more. Milo Boyd: Are you trying to seduce me? Nicole Hurley: Yeah. Milo Boyd: What's the hottest thing about me? That would be my gun. Nicole Hurley: Why do people do that? Milo Boyd: Why do people do what? Nicole Hurley: Deny that they've ever done anything wrong in the relationship - why can't people take responsibility for their shit and move on. |
