Goofs

Revealing mistakes: Near the end of the movie, when Selene blows a hole in the ceiling of the cave, some of the rocks that fall down float after splashing into the water.
Continuity: When Michael is at the pub and is being chased by the police, he jumps onto a police car and leaves a rather large dent. A moment later when he runs into the woods, there is a shot of the car and the dent is gone.
Continuity: SPOILER: When the 'gas grenade' is used for the first time in the safe house, it pops open, sprays the gas, then the two electrical rods pop out and spark causing the explosion. However, when Alexander Corvinus uses the grenade to kill himself later in the film, the rods pop up before the gas is released, then they spark to cause the explosion.
Continuity: When Selene first enters Tanis' compound and falls into the tunnel she is attacked by a Lycan and draws a knife. She drops the knife which falls to the ground and is shown with some dirt across the blade. When she reaches back for it to kill the Lycan the blade is clean and facing the other way.
Continuity: During the fight on the truck, the vehicle is severely damaged, most notably on the passenger side when Marcus is crushed between it and the cliff face. Upon arriving at the warehouse, however, there is almost no damage whatsoever.
Continuity: In the forest scene, Selene is fighting with a guard and when she knocks him down, she runs off camera. The next guard she fights is the same guard but he has different weapons.
Continuity: When Michael fights the guard wolf outside where Selene falls through the trap door, the car is damaged in the fight but it appears to be fine when they drive away.
Continuity: At the end of the film, sunlight is shining straight down through a hole in the cavern ceiling, indicating that the sun is directly overhead (ie, it is noon). But in an exterior shot, it is dawn and the sun has barely cleared the horizon.
Fact errors: During several scenes in the fortress, Selene empties her guns. After her pistols are empty the slides lock back but you can still hear click, click, click. That would be impossible as when the slide locks back you can't pull the trigger. The same happens when she empties her rifle and the bolt locks back.
Continuity: Alexander's strike team flies a (somehow modified) Aérospatiale SA 360 Dauphin. When Selene and the strike team are leaving the helicopter for the showdown, the close-ups show a Bell 204 (or UH-1).
Continuity: When Michael climbs into the truck, the cliff side is shown on the driver's side. In all other shots of the truck scene, however, the cliff side is shown on the passenger side of the truck.
Continuity: When Marcus opens the heavy stone door, in one shot, he takes the torch off its hook, then in the next, far shot, he takes the same torch off its hook.
Continuity: Marcus' wings appear and disappear throughout the truck fight scene.
Continuity: When Michael and Selene are running away from Marcus, you can see Michael standing on the road wearing a jacket, when he turns while stopping the truck, the jacket is gone.
Continuity: When Alexander's strike team jump from the helicopter into the river near the end they are wearing breathing masks of the style firefighters use, but when they hit he water they have scuba masks, then after they swim underwater and surface they have the original style on.
Continuity: When Selene is firing her pistols during the final action sequence, she reloads multiple times with clips from behind her. In preceding and following shots she has nothing on her back that could contain one or multiple clips for her pistols.
Continuity: When Michael tears the paint cans to throw them at the windows, so that sunlight would not enter and damage Selene, you can clearly see his hands full of paint, but in the next shot, his hands are clean.
Revealing mistakes: On the way to William's prison Selene sees the pictures she painted on the wall that she drew when she was young, but the way the pictures are positioned show that she must have been at least 5ft 4 tall at the age of around 8-10 because they are so high up.
GEOG: (At 22:10) The coordinates shown for the "safe house" (Location 254, Long 32 12 23, Lat 60 21 44) link to a location in Iran (near to the Afghanistan border) while the movie takes place in Hungary (recognizable from signs as the one saying "Hazorzo kutya" when entering Tanis' hiding place).
Continuity: The signs at the gate of the monastery where Andreas Tanis is hiding are visible (at 00:42:33) and intact. When passing the gate (at 00:43:19) the sign saying "Hazorzo kutya" is visible in the background and partially broken.
Continuity: SPOILER: After Selene finishes off Markus by throwing him into the helicopter's rotor blades they slow down to a halt; one is broken, two are partially broken or bent, one is intact (visible in the background at 01:31:40). In the next shot they are all broken (visible in the background at 01:33:40).
Continuity: In the scene after Michael is impaled, Selene walks into Alexander's office with blue eyes. When she is walking up the stairs, there is a far shot of her, and her eyes are brown. When the camera shows her up close again, her eyes are blue. However, the vampires' eye-colors change throughout the movies. They are often brown (natural eye-colors of the actors/actresses), but change to blue when the intensity of a situation increases. For example, Selene's eyes change from brown to blue during her fight/searching sequences in both movies, as well as her sex-scene in this film. Kraven's eyes exhibit the same behavior in the first first and this film also.
Revealing mistakes: In the scene where Marcus is entering the area after the movable wall unlocked with the key, where William's prison is, you can see a hole in the ceiling where light is entering the room. There would no purpose for a unmovable wall if you could enter the room through a hole in the ceiling.
Revealing mistakes: During the pub scene the newscaster woman and the two soldiers speaks Hungarian in a foreign accent - not to mention the grammatical errors and mis-spelled words - revealing that they are not Hungarians but foreigners who can speak the language. When Michael enters the pub the background newscaster speaks the correct language.

Quotes

  [from trailer]
Tanis: You don't scare me, Selene.
Selene: Well, we'll have to work on that.
[first lines]
Marcus: My God. Brother, what have you done?
[William has been shot through his limbs by chains, and dragged to
the ground. Marcus comes back unexpectedly.]
Viktor: Marcus!
Marcus: He was not to be harmed. Place him in my charge, as we
agreed, or you will pay for your deceit.
Viktor: And you will learn your place. Your sympathy for this beast
is foolish. Your brother is entirely beyond control. It will be
done *my* way.
Marcus: You know well the consequences if your murder me. Or William.
Viktor: If you so much as speak his name again you will have chosen
that future for him.
[Marcus looks to his sides - Viktor's warriors have their crossbows
poised at him.]
Marcus: What is thy will... my lord?
Viktor: Imprisonment for all time. Far from you.
Marcus: Hello Father.
Alexander Corvinus: You are unwelcome in my presence.
Marcus: Ah. The predictable heart that never thaws. Pity it beats
within such a fool. The eldest of the immortals, yet you have made
no attempt to seize your destiny.
Alexander Corvinus: We are oddities of nature, you and I. Nothing
more! This is a world for humanity.
Marcus: And that petty sentiment explains why you rejected your sons?
Why you stood by for over half a millennium as William suffered
alone in darkness? No, Father, I have no respect for your petty
sentiment. Viktor's key. Where is it?
Alexander Corvinus: Whatever plan you have for William is futile. You
cannot control your brother.
Marcus: Oh, I am stronger now. And our bond is greater than you have
ever wanted to acknowledge.
Alexander Corvinus: You're wrong. Soon you'll be drowning in Lycans
just like before.
Marcus: Oh, not Lycans, Father, or Vampires. A new race created in
the image of their maker. Their new God. Me.
[Marcus impales Alexander to the wall with his talon]
Marcus: And a true God
[picks up a sword]
Marcus: has no father.
[Marcus drives the sword through Alexander, then takes the key out of
his top pocket]
Alexander Corvinus: You will fail.
[Marcus has Kraven pinned to the wall by his talons]
Kraven: Marcus?
Marcus: The blood memories of this wretched creature...
[indicates Singe's body]
Marcus: ...have shown me that your treachery knows no bounds.
Kraven: My lord, I can explain.
Marcus: Why would I listen to your lies when the journey to the
truth... is so much sweeter?
[Marcus bites into his neck, and see's visions of Kraven's past,
including his bargain with Lucian and Selene killing Viktor]
Kraven: Please. I can assist you.
Marcus: [smiles] Oh, you already have.
[he pulls his talons free, then swipes Kraven's head off.]
Alexander Corvinus: For centuries I've stood back and watched the
havoc my sons have wrought on each other, and on humanity - not the
legacy I prayed for the morning I watched them enter this world...
And it's been a tiresome duty - keeping the war contained, cleaning
up the mess, hiding my family's unfortunate history.
Michael Corvin: Couldn't you have stopped it?
Selene: Yes!
Alexander Corvinus: Could you kill your own sons?
Selene: You know what Marcus will do! If he finds me, he finds
William's prison! You have to help us stop him!
Alexander Corvinus: You are asking me to help you kill my son - YOU,
a Death Dealer? How many innocents have YOU slain in your
six-century quest to avenge your family? Spare me your
self-righteous declarations! You are no different from Marcus and
even less noble than William - at least HE cannot control his
savagery!
Selene: Everything I've done can be laid at YOUR feet - hundreds of
thousands have died because of your inability to accept that your
sons are monsters, that they CREATE monsters!
Selene: [glances at Michael] We're not leaving him here.
Selene: You're Alexander Corvinus...
Alexander Corvinus: There was a time when I was known by that name...
by any name, I am still your forefather.
[William, Marcus Corvinus's twin brother and the very first werewolf,
is released from his prison of a thousand years. He growls and
charges at Marcus]
Marcus: William... No, William, no! Calm down! Be still, brother...
it's me, Marcus!
Michael Corvin: [to the Armed Officers] Get the fuck away from me.
Selene: What will I become?
Alexander Corvinus: The future.
Selene: [to Michael] There's never been a hybrid before. However
ambivalent you might feel about it, the truth is, your powers could
be limitless. You depend on blood.
Marcus: Tanis, you seem anxious. Why do you flee at the very sight of
me?
[Sits in a chair calmly]
Marcus: Please, sit. There's no need for this to be unpleasant. I've
always rather enjoyed your company.
[Tanis glances at his guns and ultraviolet ammunition, obviously
contemplating making a grab for one. Marcus notices this]
Marcus: Now you're being rude.
Tanis: Sorry.
[sits nervously]
Selene: [picks up the abandoned bra of one of Tanis's girlfriends]
Your exile seems a bit more comfortable than I remember.
Marcus: Viktor fashioned two keys. What do you know of them?
Tanis: Keys? I don't know of any keys.
[Marcus spears Tanis in the shoulders and pulls him across the table]
Tanis: Oh... yes. Yes, those keys.
Marcus: I know what you have done, Selene.
Selene: Viktor deserved his fate. And Kraven was no better.
Marcus: Kraven has already reaped the rewards of his own misdeeds.
And yes, Viktor deserved his fate, many times over. A terrible
business, the slaying of your mortal family. Yet so much effort was
spent to conceal this matter from me. What do you suppose Viktor
had to hide? Or perhaps it is you Selene, as the last of your
wretched family, who has something to hide?
Selene: For six centuries I was a loyal soldier to the vampire clan.
But I was betrayed. The war was not as it had seemed. In one night,
the lies that had united our kind had been exposed. Kraven, our
second-in-command, had formed a secret alliance with Lucian, leader
of the werewolf clan, to overthrow Viktor, our leader. But Kraven's
lust for power and domination had failed. Viktor was not the savior
I had been led to believe. He had betrayed us all. Soon, the hunt
will be on for his killer. I have but one ally left: Michael, the
human descendent of Corvinus. Neither vampire nor lycan, but a
hybrid. It's only a matter of time before we're found. My only hope
now is to awaken Markus, our last remaining elder, and expose the
truth before Kraven tries to murder him while he's still in
hibernation. Kraven knows he's no match for him awake.
Marcus: [to Selene] Dead or alive, you will give me what I want!
Marcus: [to Selene] I knew Viktor made a mistake by keeping you as a
pet. He should have killed you with the rest of your family.
Tanis: [after shooting at Selene] I knew it was you Selene. The
stench of Viktor's blood still lingers in your veins.
