| Biography: | Danny Donnelly was born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Daniel and Linda, and the oldest brother to Ryan and Casey. He is an easy-going guy who enjoys life and does not like arguments or drama. As a youngster, he grew up playing sports, achieving in academics and drawing. He played a variety of sports, if you name it he probably played it. He was and continues to be a straight A student. Yes, there was a slump in high school for a couple of years because he has a very outgoing personality and was having way too much fun. But he got up, dusted himself off and it's been up hill ever since. Danny was always an artist at heart. It was a natural talent that was bestowed upon him at a very young age. Throughout elementary and high school, he won numerous awards for his drawings and paintings. He was also the cartoonist for his high school's newspaper. He always saw art as a hobby, and sports as his main goal in life. After graduating from Holy Ghost Prep High School, sports did not quite pan out for him, so he started to dive into his creative side. As a self-proclaimed film buff, Danny decided to jump into acting. He started out taking acting and modeling classes before attending college. At Temple University, Danny began as a Biology major and took acting classes on the side. After a couple of semesters, he realized that he did not love Biology as much as he thought he did. He then changed his major to Broadcast Journalism. Yes, a completely different direction, but that's Danny for you. He follows his heart and just goes with the flow. He declared a minor in theater and pursued broadcasting because he would love to be a personality on radio or TV one day. Besides pursuing a job in radio or TV, Danny concentrates on acting. He took acting classes because they were fun and he loved to portray other personalities, but fell in love with it after getting an exclusive taste working as an extra on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. From then on, he knew that he wanted to be an actor. Since Transformers, Danny has worked on The Last Airbender with M.Night Shamylan, the TV show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and numerous independent films where he plays supporting and lead roles. He has contributed his time to writing screenplays and short stories, which one is in pre-production and will be shot sometime in 2010. He is the Co-Creator of Boats N' Bros Films. He also performs many different impressions and can do various voices from cartoons to real people. He continues to draw and paint as a hobby and is the cartoonist for the Temple University Newspaper. |
