| Biography: | Scott Jefferies was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is one of three children, one older sister and a younger sister, and parents who have been married over 50+ years to date. He and his sisters attended Baylor University on the advice of their father who was an executive in the oilfield for over 40 years. In 1981 his family moved to San Antonio where his father took a executive position with a major oil and gas company. Scott graduated from San Antonio Roosevelt High School; where in his Senior year was on the top 100 list for QBs in the state of Texas, under the coaching of legendary Texas Ring of Honor Coach John Ferrara. He also was a national qualifier in the 4X100 meter relay in his Sophomore year in high school. He attended Baylor University to play football in the fall of 1986, but was seriously hurt in a car wreck before the teams Blue Bonnet Bowl appearance against Colorado in 1986. Upon graduation in 1994, he starting venturing into acting and landed his first major role in the independent feature Going Independent. He since has landed a recurring role on Direct TV/NBC critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights, working opposite of Scott Porter as sports agent Grant Halbert. He was recently in a co-starring role on the new FOX television series premier The Good Guys episode "Bait and Switch". He comes from an entertainment background where his cousin Billy Thompson is a member of the Grand Ole'Opry. He has had most of his training with the renowned Chris Wilson who opened the Alley Theatre in its original season. He still resides in Houston, Texas. |
